A man from Livesile died on Thursday night, after crossing the street on the crosswalk, he was hit by a car. Police have opened a criminal case.
At the scene of the accident that occurred around 22.30, on DN 17, in Livvezile, a crew from the Bistrița-Năsăud County Ambulance Service and the SMURD mobile intensive care crew intervened, who found the victim unconscious, but also the police from the Road Service.
It is about a 54-year-old man who unfortunately died.
„On the spot it was found that a man, 58 years old from Maieru, while driving a car in the direction of Bistrița-Vatra Dornei, injured a 54-year-old man from Lives, employed in crossing the street, on a pedestrian crossing.
Following the accident, unfortunately, the man from the Orchards died.
The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being negative. In the case, a criminal case was drawn up, and the investigations continue, in order to establish the cause and circumstances in which the event took place „, sent IPJ Bistrița-Năsăud.
