On the night of August 19/20, on the National Road 17, the road police intervened in an accident within the municipality of Bistrița.
The collision took place between a van driven by a 25-year-old from Uriu and a minibus driven by a 66-year-old man from the Orchards.
The accident resulted in the injury of the 25-year-old driver and two passengers in the minibus who refused to transport to the hospital.
“On the spot, following the checks carried out, the police found that the 25-year-old does not have a driving license for any category of motor vehicle and is under the influence of alcohol. The result of the breathalyzer test was 0.51 mg / l pure alcohol in expired air and biological samples were taken. At the same time, it would have stolen for self-use purposes, from Livzile locality, from the working point of a company.
