A man from Bistrița chose a criminal case, after being involved in a car accident on Wednesday, and the police discovered that he had been drinking before getting behind the wheel. The value indicated by the breathalyzer also shocked the law enforcement officers.
The police of the Bistrița Road Office intervened yesterday in a car accident on Libertății Street in the municipality and which, fortunately, was not a soldier with human victims.
According to IPJ Bistrița-Năsăud, on the spot, the police found that a car driven by a 66-year-old man from Bistrița collided with another, led by a 57-year-old man from the same locality. From the impact, the vehicle driven by the man by the 57-year-old man was designed in a metal pole.
The two were tested with the breathalyzer, the result being 1.11 mg / l pure alcohol in the expired air in the case of the 57-year-old man and negative in the case of the other driver. Biological samples were taken to determine blood alcohol.
Criminal case has been drawn up in question, and research is continued in terms of the crime of driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
