Deputy Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu canceled his reservation for the winter holidays in Austria, government sources told G4Media. The decision was taken as a boycott of Austria’s veto at Romania’s entry into Schengen.
Grindeanu was going to go with the New Year’s Eve family to a resort where I have been going every year for the last 15 years.
Grindeanu, who is also Minister of Transport, confirmed last week that several companies under the ministry are going to give up accounts in Austrian banks.
